Hello everyone, I am back. Life was, and has been very busy. I officially started high-school as a freshman and am glad to say I have been surviving. Luckily I am back to writing blogs about my fav new books.     OMG!!! This is the book of books, this is the BEST Y/A book I have ever read. Svetlana Chmakova is a talented writer, page one captured me, like no book has ever done before so let's dive into it.

In this book/ comic a girl named Peppi (Penelope) the "new girl" drops her stuff, and a boy named Jaime decided to help her out. When people in the hall begin yelling, " Nerder found a girlfriend," she pushes him away she changed her "new girl" experience forever. When she tries avoiding him, she realizes THAT'S NEVER GOING TO HAPPEN, because he becomes her tutor, her helper, her savior, and true friend. When in an accident riding her bike, Jamie is at her rescue taking her to his house, and calling her parents. She meets Jaime's parents and his mom tells her that she should really apologize to Jaime. When Peppi finally does, Jaime tells her the most amazing thing I've ever heard, "There are bad people who hurt for fun, and there are people who do it by accident. Like they make a mistake? I think your a good person. You just made a mistake."

        Joey Graceffa an internet sensation, the man every teen looks up to, and the guy  that has the most adorable dogs in the world has opened up, in his new book. This book was given to me as a Christmas gift, but as I began to read, it felt like I was being given a life lesson. In this story little Joey, his sister, and mom live together. When Joey was a little boy, he began to munch on some paint chips that were falling from the window sill. The toxicity was so bad it left Joey with a learning disability. Due to this Joey was put in the Special Education classes, and was made fun of because of it :(. 

    As Joey grew up he found an interest in the camera, and making his own silly videos. He got together with his friend and started his 1st You Tube channel Winter Spring Pro. (W.S.P.). They made videos that went viral and eventually were able to persue a job doing what they love. Joey and his friend eventually ended the channel, but he persued his own. Joey blogged his daily life, but he hid  a part of his life.

   Joey was (is) gay, he admits this in his book. He states that people should be interested in his personality not who he wants to kiss. Accepting this was very hard for him, he couldn't accept it, so how could he ask others to accept it. Joey came- out at age 24 to help teens who struggle with the same question. He makes it very clear that it's okay to deny it at first, or not to admit it, but he wants all teens to know it's not okay to hurt yourself over it.

My Thoughts: This book was a real lesson to me Joey opened my mind, and made me think about a lot of things in my life. He gave me examples how to handle situations in life. He also showed me that people shouldn't care about my sexuality or my disability, and if they do they're missing out on my message. Reading this book really changed my thought process on life, and made me want to be a better person. Thank You Joey Graceffa for showing me the meaning of life.

Monthly Update 2016 Year of Truthfulness

                                       Life Updates

                    2015 was an amazing year for me, I started a blog and opened up to what life has to offer. This year 2016 will be an even more amazing year, here are lots of things to look forward to: I have decided to do a blog every two weeks (Not including monthly updates), I have decided to begin writing a YA novel, I will start a You Tube channel in March (keep an eye out for the name), and I also will have a Q and A with you guys later on in the year. 2016 is a year full of hope promise, and excitement, so go on read, write, and enjoy.
